Spring Break Fun

Parts of my spring break I got kinda boring, so I told mom I wanted to paint my wall. She was fine with that so I went ahead and painted away... Here's my immitation of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. Spring break fun :)

And here's a room shot ... pretty intense.


Next, I plan on buying white paper blinds and maybe finishing up the painting over the blinds... we'll see. It's all in the making.

Thunder bolts and lightening, not too frightening

It's raining right now and I'm loving it. I miss thunder and lightening... that's the coolest part about rainstorms. Doesn't really get to that point around here as much as I remember it did in Pennsylvania. Hm.

Today was a pretty chill day. Nothing too exciting but not really boring either. I even took a bath! I can't remember the last time I did that. I probably will do it more often now that I remember how grand they are. Just maybe.

Boring Post

Today was a looong day. Got up kinda late... not TOO late... just late enough to have to hurry to get to calc. Found out that I did crappy on my test yesterday. Went to chem lecture, a bunch of note taking. Came home to my apartment and got out the good ol' books and started studying till around 5 ish, then Nicole, Shannon, and I all went to Hobbnobs for din din. Ate too many nachos. Went to Dillons (one that I didn't even know existed in Manhattan) and watched Nikki and Shannon buy things, like mint flavoring. Then back home to study sum mo'. Now honestly... how exciting is THAT?... pretty dang exciting.

Today was actually the first day in a very long time that I didn't work out. It's weird cause right now I am feeling kinda sore... hm... I'll make up for it tomorrow. I'm my own trainer.

It's making really neat sounds outside... a little bit of thunder, a lit a bit of wind... I think the weather is confused of what sound it wants to make. Hopefully it listens to my request of "sound" tomorrow and plays a nice melody of QUIETNESS and sunshine... my favorite song!

Speaking of music, I'm listening to the Trans Siberian Orchestra's latest Christmas CD right now. Great music.

Dear Blog

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Busy busy busy... and it only continues! Tonight I have my calc test :( how fun. Thursday I have my geography and micro test, and all days from yesterday till then is full of wonderful studying! How exciting! I'm sure most other freshman at KSU feel my pain... its not fun.

I am very excited to go home! I plan on avoiding learning anything for a whole WEEK! Sounds great, huh? Yea... I'll just sleep in, eat yummy food, and chill allll weekend! I so excited! My plans are as follows:

Friday: Hang out with Friends at KSU
Saturday-Mid Week day... : Wichita
Mid-Week till the next Saturday: Chillin with my peeps in GC town
Saturday and Sunday (maybe Monday morning): Wichita again
Then home and more school!

Not the most exciting itinerary in the world, but its still going to be great and is much needed!

Stress meets Joy

So I didn't go to Wichita this weekend like planned and now I miss my mommy A LOT :( I am going to make a quick trip some time this week and I can NOT wait!!! I need a mommy hug pronto. Along with missing ma, I miss my nic. Solution #2: I'm going to GC this weekend with my friend, Tuyen! Should be fun cause Nic has a bunch of fun stuff going on! Saturday he has a band concert and he also coaches his mini-basketball players, and Sunday I think we're going to his Church and then at 5:30 he has his OWN bball game through the YMCA. I'm way excited cause I miss watching him play (both band and bball). Should be a good time! I need a nic hug as well.

Things these past few weeks have been stressful and it really has sucked not having Nic and mom here. They have a tendancy to fix all of my problems and replace them with happiness. I'm not going to lie, it's kinda nice! Just to let everyone know... NIC WAS ACCEPTED TO KSU! Just knowing he'll be here next semester makes me smile! Yay!

The sad news is as follows: I have my first Chemistry Lab Exam.... I'm kinda freaking out about that. I dont think I'm going to do too hot! I am missing one of the labs (cause I was gone in NJ), so that means I'm already bound to miss one or two questions off the bat! I read through it, but that's not really going to help! I hate tests.... ew.

Chicken Feet

Yesterday I fell asleep almost at 7pm.... that's kinda sad. Granted I had a horrible headache, but still.... wow. That also kinda sucks cause I was planning on getting ahead on my homework last night :(

Well today in Geography we have another guest speaker, Anne Donovan, who's going to talk about asian food. Her topic is "Chopsticks and Chicken Feet: Geography of Chiese Cuisine". Sounds kinda interesting I guess.

As for the rest of the day, I have a few more classes and then Belly Dancing at 3. Today I think we learn WRIST MOVEMENTS... :D lol! Eh, its a fun class who cares! Following BD I'll hit up Kell's dorm and chill with her for a few, then later on roll on out to Nicole and Shanno's crib, get a bite... play some cards (sounds more gangster). It's all good.

Good Day

Good morning! I am pretty excited for today because not only do I only have 2 classes and get out at 11:30, not only do I get to go to the rec with Kellie and Kelly... NOT ONLY have I already made my bed... BUT.... as of today, spring break is in 2 weeks and 2 days. That may not be special to most, but it only gets better and better for me from here on out. I want classes to be OUTTT!!!

I also have to do laundry today! I enjoy that part of the week. It smells good.
