Random thoughts

Someone once told me that they believed that who you are your sophomore year in college is pretty much who you will be the rest of your life.

If this is true, and I'm sure that the observation is pretty accurate, the I'm pretty happy with who I am today. I may not be perfect, and I know I have more growing up to do... more things to experience and learn from... but as far as the person I am... I am proud to be me.

~ * ~

On a less serious side- I hung out with some friends tonight and it was a lot of fun. We watched Happy Gilmore and Just Friends-- I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. OH and to make it better I had cereal while I was there; it was a new kind I haven't had before... it was really good.

I have been working out nearly every day, today I didn't go because I was lazy and took a nap and did homework things- but tomorrow I'm going after work: IF YOUR READING THIS NICOLE CALL ME AFTER 9 :)

p.s. Cancun is in 1 1/2 months!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!

3. Calc lecture... learned some stuff with the Trev like aXb... you know.
4. Finished homework real quick and handed that baby in
5. Work from 3 to 6:45.... WAYYYY BUSY.... VERY HECTIC. Kinda liked it.
-- OH annnd I got flowers :) thank you mommy and Jay... I love you!

Demetri Martin

No pictures for this post, that will be for next time since I haven't downloaded them yet!

Anyways, this weekend was nice. It was my niece’s baptism and I got to be the godmother! It's really exciting for me... I made Jayme promise me since we were little that I would be the godmother of at least one of her children.... I have an amazing godmother myself so I was excited to "follow her footsteps"! A picture would go nicely right here...

So right now I am at work.... we are pretty slow for the most part. I brought Grey's Anatomy season II to watch to keep me entertained.

Last thought: Demetri Martin is a funny man, not AS funny as Dane my main man, but still pretty funny.

Thank you SMART TAN!

I'm here at work right now stealing someone's wireless connection. For those of you who don't know, I work at Sun Connection which is a tanning salon over in Aggie Ville. It's not bad- just SUPER boring if its not busy... and being brake and all makes it pretty non-busy. I had to come back Thursday to work, and I'm scheduled to work every day till next Thursday. It may be boring, but the money is always nice to have!

So last night I went to walmart with Nicole, which was fun. Plus I learned how to buy the good/cheap brand of medicine- kudos to Nicole. After that we went to Radina's (where there were ONLY male guys for some reason), and then off to Old Chicago for some tasty food.

Today I have to work 9-5 so I thought ahead and not only brought my computer, but the first season of Grey's Anatomy to see AGAIN! I would watch movies, but I really dont have anything here worth watching... to all of you out there reading this amazing blog, know this: "Dr. T and the Women" is a retarded movie and not worth your time, I watched it yesterday.

Today I will end with this helpful fact (it's worth a little giggle):

INTERNATIONAL SMART TAN NETWORK, examination question from SMART TAN manual.
Studies show that colon cancer can be relieved or avioded with exposure to ultraviolet light (tanning beds).

Here's another website I found that kinda says the same thing: Sunscreens and Cancer

Good ol' GC

Garden City, KS 12/31/06

This weekend I went down to Garden City to spend some time with Nic and my friends back "home". It was fun even though the power was out for the majority of the time. I spent a lot of time with Nic's family and just playing games and lying around, but it was nice to just relax.

For New Years I spent about 1/2 the night at Rhonda's house with Nicole, Shannon and Shannon's family eating great food and the other 1/2 at my friend Heidi's house. It was a very fun New Years- Nic even got his first experience with the wii!

Last night Nic and I went to see the Pursuit of Happyness, which was an amazing film in my opinion. It's worth the $7.50 to go see- luckily me and Nic had free movie passes. Either way... very good movie.

And tomorrow it's back to Manhattan for some more work and stuff. Ciao!

The weather in GC was horrible- here's a picture of the power line tower things on my way back to Wichita yesterday:
